GENERAL
REVIEW
Nick came to R. L. Stevens
after searching on his own for 17 months. He had spent
20 years in automotive racing and car design in Europe prior
to moving to the United States. Nothing seemed to open
for him, even in the racing capital of the world. So, he
utilized his design engineering background and experience with
composite materials to formulate light weight and durable
cabinets, but from whence he came, there was not satisfaction
or peace.
The first
concern was to target Nick's experience, via a new resume,
into industries that move things, motorcycles, marine,
snowmobiles, Jet Ski, airplanes, or cards. The design
elements of these industries are similar and his experience in
weight distribution and aerodynamics would fit well.
During one of
our last training meetings prior to launch, I asked him how he
felt about motorcycles. He kind of shrugged his
shoulders and said, "Well, there's
not much to them, but that'd be okay."
Good thing he was willing to pursue the cycles.
Within a few
days of his targeted distribution, Nick received a call from
an industry leading, national motorcycle manufacturer to
oversee the long-term design projects and supervise 156 design
engineers.
"There were two
primary reasons that I came to R. L. Stevens, I wanted you to
package my experience in a resume that would attract a
different level of interest than what I had achieved to date.
I wanted to tap your information and database to initiate
contacts into environments that I otherwise would not be able
to identify. You masterfully accomplished both.
Thanks for all your help!"
